All six performances of this program of small, beautiful pieces were met with positive reviews! This last one, photographed by my dear colleague Ellyses Kuan, had former student Theo Mitterando, current students Sue Williams from D.C., Julie Shapiro, Anne Logan, Amara Mulder and her husband Matt, Robert Demerjian and Guy and Bob Hoffman. Plus, my dear friends Debbie and Tom and an adorable pet pooch! The sound element worked out very well, even on Zoom! Thanks to everyone for your support and listening!
Clayton comes from a very musical family, as you may have noticed! He’s seven years old and attends Cushing Elementary School in Scituate.
Clayton’s mom, Amara, says that Clayton’s favorite thing to do is to build Legos. She reports that while he likes to play with boxed sets (especially Star Wars and Harry Potter), he is a very conscientious and enthusiastic designer of new Lego creations, particularly boats and space-craft. When not building Legos, Clayton can be found playing around the house with his three siblings and dog Kia. She says that he really enjoyed learning to play “The Entertainer,” and even taught his younger sister Naomi to play the first few lines!!!!

Diana Won, Student of the Week
Diana is a top student in her freshman year at Norwell High School. She loves animals, especially Bella and her birds, who sing during her entire lesson. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as sailing and bridge- jumping. Her musical talents are many and she plays violin and clarinet, in addition to the piano. She’s ultra-expressive and a very hard worker!
